Muon is a global data accessibility layer that enables Web2 and Web3, off-chain, on-chain and cross-chain applications to run. The network acts as a base layer that receives and sends messages from the real world and between blockchains, creating a dynamic ecosystem of DeFi and cryptocurrencies.
The Muon network leverages the rapidly evolving blockchain-based industry by providing the key services necessary for the industry to function: secure, real-time global data availability and seamless cross-chain communication.
The Muon protocol consists of a large number of nodes that process and sign data on demand and transmit sensitive data in a secure threshold signature scheme to smart contracts where its integrity can be verified.
That said, Muon itself is not a persistent state like ethereum, but rather Muon is a protocol without a state. Nodes are required to bail out the Muon smart contract in advance, which ensures that malicious behavior will be punished shoulder-to-shoulder.
It is managed by a global community of node operators, all of whom are incentivized by the Muon token.
Note that SHO (Strong Holding Offering) will be conducted on the DAO Maker Launchpad.
